Fly By Jing and Juni Mailers

Fly By Jing and Juni bring seasonal and sampling formats to the HVRLA portfolio. The Fly By Jing advent calendar is a rigid, book-style box in lacquer red that opens like a gatefold to reveal twelve numbered doors, each framed in gold ornament, with the brand’s chili crisp mascot at the center. The Fly By Jing mailer is a dark teal corrugated box with a printed interior that lines up the sauces and jars under the brand’s “dip, glaze, drizzle, marinate, stir fry” cue. The Juni flip box is a sky-blue mailer with a clear window that shows off a row of adaptogenic drinks against painted clouds.

Between them, these three pieces cover most of what food and beverage brands ask HVRLA for.

Fly By Jing Advent Calendar

Countdown packaging has one job: make twelve small reveals feel like twelve events. The Fly By Jing calendar is a gatefold rigid box, two hinged covers opening from the center, with a grid of perforated doors on the inside faces. Each door covers a cell sized to a single jar or sachet, and the numbering is scattered rather than sequential so the eye hunts a little, which is part of the fun.

Lacquer red with gold ornament is a demanding print spec. HVRLA ran the red as a spot color under a gloss laminate so the covers read like enamel, and printed the gold as a metallic ink rather than foil to keep the doors crisp at small sizes. The mascot at the center is the one place the artwork is allowed to be loud.

Advent and countdown calendars suit holiday campaigns, twelve-day launches, subscription teasers, and any brand with a range wide enough to fill the doors. Lead times are longer than a standard mailer because of the perforation and the cell structure, so the calendar is a spring conversation for a winter ship.

Fly By Jing Interior-Printed Mailer

The everyday Fly By Jing mailer is a corrugated flip-top in dark teal with a full-color interior print. The inside of the lid carries the brand’s usage cue, and the base panel is printed with a lineup graphic that places each sauce where it sits in the insert. The result is a box that points the camera at the product and explains it in the same frame.

Interior print is the most efficient upgrade a corrugated mailer can take. The outside stays simple and ships clean; the inside does the storytelling. HVRLA prints inside and out in one pass so the upgrade costs very little.

Juni Windowed Flip Box

Juni’s box sells before it opens. The sky-blue flip box has a die-cut front window with a clear film panel, so the four cans are visible on arrival, lined up against painted clouds on the side panels. A fitted insert holds the cans upright and keeps them from touching, which protects the print on the cans as well as the box.

Windowed packaging works when the product is the hero and the color does the talking. For canned beverages, it also solves a practical problem: recipients can see what they are getting before they commit to the full unboxing, which tends to raise the chance they open it on camera at all.

Who These Formats Suit

Condiment and sauce brands, snack and confectionery, canned and bottled beverages, coffee and tea, and any food brand running sampling, seeding, or seasonal programs. HVRLA engineers each structure, matches the material to the price point, and manages print and manufacturing from a single team, which matters when a holiday calendar and an everyday mailer need to ship from the same calendar.
