Beverage and Lifestyle Mailers

Three beverage and lifestyle mailers, three different moods. The Juni flip box leads with a clear-window front, cloud-illustrated sides, and a row of four flavored cans that sell the product before the lid moves. The Happiness in a Can box is a pastel gradient mailer in lavender, pink, and blue with the tongue-in-cheek warning “may cause spontaneous good moods” and the product name in clean white type. The Winslow kraft PR box brings its single-color print and flip-top lid, and a little grit to balance the sweetness.

Playful, dreamy, and rugged, but built the same way. This page compares the three so a beverage brand can see which structure fits its list and its budget. The full HVRLA PR box portfolio covers the shaped boxes as well.

Juni: The Windowed Flip Box

Juni’s mailer is a corrugated flip-top with a die-cut front window and a fitted can insert. The window does the selling; the insert does the protecting. Side panels carry painted clouds that match the can artwork, so the box and the product read as one object. It is the right choice when the product is visually strong and the reveal should start at the doorstep. More on the Fly By Jing and Juni page.

Happiness in a Can: The Gradient Mailer

Happiness in a Can wanted a box that felt like the drink: soft, bright, and a little cheeky. HVRLA printed a lavender-to-blue gradient across every exterior face of a corrugated flip-top, with the product name and the “spontaneous good moods” warning in clean white type. Gradients on corrugated board are harder than they look, because flute texture breaks up smooth tone. HVRLA used a litho-laminated top sheet so the gradient stays smooth and the colors stay true.

The box is a canvas rather than a structure, which keeps the unit cost close to a standard mailer while giving the brand a fully owned look. It suits functional beverages, wellness drinks, and any brand whose personality is in its palette.

Winslow: The Kraft Flip-Top

The Winslow box is natural kraft with single-color black print, inside and out. No laminate, no window, no gradient. It is the most economical of the three and the most recyclable, and it photographs with a warmth that suits outdoor and craft brands. Full detail is on the Winslow mailer page.

Choosing Between Them

If the product sells itself on sight, choose the window. If the brand sells itself on color, choose the printed wrap. If the brand sells itself on restraint, choose kraft. All three are corrugated flip-tops at heart, so they ship flat, assemble fast, and travel without an outer carton. The differences are in print and insert, which is where HVRLA spends the design time.

For a seeding program with tiers, the three can run together: kraft for the long list, the printed wrap for the middle, and the windowed box for creators whose content will carry the launch.

Work with HVRLA

HVRLA’s engineers and designers work the structure, print, and material together so each box survives shipping, opens cleanly, and performs on camera. Windowed mailers, gradient-printed corrugated boxes, and kraft flip-tops are all in the catalog, and every one is manufactured through our global partners on schedule.
